Lending Compliance Analyst

Our client, a regional bank in the NYC metro area, is seeking to add a Lending Compliance Analyst to analyze, support, and assist in ensuring the bank is in compliance with all lending related federal and state regulatory requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities/Results:
� 1.�Ensure, recommend and implement the industry?s best practices regarding lending regulatory requirements by continuously monitoring compliance forums for new or revised guidelines within Lending.
� 2.�Coordinates the lending compliance program through ongoing meetings with Lending management and staff.
� 3.�Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements for the Lending departments, by creating and disseminating checklists to departments and inputting results to the Pringle Compliance Monitoring Program.
� 4.�Updates Lending testing programs by analyzing results and by collaborating with Compliance Consultant to ascertain need and completeness.
� 5.�Conducts transaction testing based on any identified weaknesses; potential risk; and/or possible civil money penalties, identified during the review of completed Pringle questionnaires, and/or based on industry peer information.�
� 6.�Ensure HMDA information is correct by conducting periodic reviews of loan files and comparing information to HMDA LAR prior to filing.
� 7.�Assists in the mitigation of lending compliance risk by performing periodic reviews of disclosures, lending files and forms.
� 8.�Reports on the effectiveness of lending compliance by preparing periodic status reports to Management.
� 9.�Contributes to BSA monitoring by conducting enhanced due diligence on high risk borrowers in the pipeline by pulling LexisNexis reviews, online searches, and compiling information to document completion.
10.�Assists with the Bank?s incident response program by reviewing, logging and recommending action to be taken on reports of potential incidents.
11.�Serves as an active member of the Compliance committee by attending meetings and disseminating information.
12.�Active contributor to the Compliance newsletter by submitting relevant lending information for publication bank wide.
13.�Assume duties of the Compliance Manager in their absence.
14.�Helps out as needed by performing other related duties that may be necessary from time to time.

Job Specifications:
1.� Bachelor?s degree.
2.� Minimum of two years of experience in Lending compliance in the financial service industry.
3.� Knowledge of Lending Regulatory requirements required.�����������
4.� Ability to stay organized and meet deadlines set by management.
5.� Demonstrated ability in working with PC, spreadsheets and word processing.
6. �Accurate typing skills and math skills.
7.��Excellent written and oral communication skills.
